What an incredible weekend! The 2024 NYC Marathon was one for the books. From the team dinner on Friday night to the emotional finish line moments on Sunday — here's a full recap of our marathon weekend.
Friday Night Dinner
We kicked things off at our traditional pre-race dinner on the Upper East Side. The energy was electric — first-timers nervous, veterans calm and confident. Mark gave an inspiring toast that had a few people wiping their eyes.
Expo Day Saturday
The Fred's Team expo experience was incredible. MSK staff were there to meet the runners, and there's something incredibly powerful about looking a cancer survivor in the eyes and knowing why you're doing this.
Race Day
28 runners, 26.2 miles, 5 boroughs. Every single one of our team members crossed the finish line. Our fastest finisher came in under 3:30 and our final finisher crossed at hour 6 to an enormous cheer from the team.
Final Numbers
As a team, we raised over $118,000 in 2024, bringing our all-time total to over $500k for MSK cancer research. We couldn't be prouder.
